Tejvan organises short-distance running and cycling races for the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team in his home city of Oxford. He is also a very good cyclist, having won the National hill climb championships in 2013 and finished 3rd in the National 100 Mile Time Trials in 2014.

This morning the Sri Chinmoy Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race began in Jamaica, Queens. A large crowd of well-wishers saw the 14 runners 9 men and five women begin their epic journey. This will spend the next 52 days covering the .5488 of a mile (883.207km) as they seek to cover the necessary distance of 59.618 miles/ 95.946 km per day.
