The 2011 Self Transcendence 3100 Mile Race is the longest certified foot race in the world (Certificate Code: NY97024PR). The competitors seek to complete 5649 laps of a .5488 mile course (883 meters) in a timespan of 52 days. This year's 3100 Mile Race will start on June 12. Runners to the start!

- Stutisheel Lebedev, 40 years, has been seriously running for more then 26 year and in his own works: "just loves it". It will be his 7th 3100 Mile Race. He progressed from 53 days in 2004 to 48 days in 2009 in this everest-running. He has written 5 books on his 3100 mile journey, the last one in 2010 - Eat to Run: Health and Diet of An Ultrarunner. He lives in Kiev, Ukraine, where he is involved in many projects - from lecturing and giving training on personal growth, to managing a company of software development with dozen of people.
