About the author:

Tejvan organises short-distance running and cycling races for the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team in his home city of Oxford. He is also a very good cyclist, having won the National hill climb championships in 2013 and finished 3rd in the National 100 Mile Time Trials in 2014.

After 52 days, the Sri Chinmoy Self-Transcendence Race was brought to an end with 11 runners all completing their own personal goals of self-transcendence. Between them the runners completed 31,166 miles in the space of just a few weeks. Stutisheel Lebedev, from Ukraine, completed his goal of 3100 miles in the final evening, bringing his total of finishes to ten.
