Michael Peel remains consistent.

Michael Peel has been the model of consistency in this year’s race, having dipped below 60 miles on only one occaison on Day 5. Today he ran 65.30 miles to lead once again for day mileage honors. Tomorrow morning, Vladimir Glazkov will pass 2000 miles, an amazing achievement for any age of runner. He will also become the first over 60 person to ever run 2000 miles in a certified race.

**News Flash** Stefan is back on the track after suffering from a severe heat rash.
