Tejvan organises short-distance running and cycling races for the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team in his home city of Oxford. He is also a very good cyclist, having won the National hill climb championships in 2013 and finished 3rd in the National 100 Mile Time Trials in 2014.

Vasu is an exemplary presence at the 3100 Mile Race. The quiet and modest runner is frequently seen spending time to encourage other runners who are going through difficult periods. It is his tenth finish from ten starts. He has won the race on three occasions.

Vasu from St Petersburg, Russia with friends from Oneness-Dream Boat Shore. The name Sri Chinmoy gave to the former Republics of the Soviet Union.
