Vasu Duzihy is just 44 miles from reaching 3,100 miles and is scheduled to finish later today. The 55 year-old from St Petersburg, Russia will successfully complete his tenth race from ten starts. He is a former winner of three editions.

Stutisheel Lebedev was the day's leader with 65 miles - a very welcome total as he seeks to catch up lost ground to finish within the next four days. He needs 241 miles from the last four days, an average of 60.1.

First place woman Susan continues her impressive debut race with a 63 mile day, she is just 189 miles from reaching the goal.

Race Director Rupantar shares his thoughts on the race

(This video was recorded on day 40)

Kaneenika Janakova the women's record holder for 3100 miles has had a tough race but continues her consistent determined effort, passing another 50 mile day. Ananda-Lahari Zuscin, Nirbhasa Magee and Stephen Redfern will also not be able to reach the goal of 3100 miles this time around, but cheerfully continue seeking their own personal self-transcendence.

Huang Lan Yang has had a tough week and needs 235 miles from the last four days. That is an average of 58.75 miles day. It is doable, but for the debut 3100 Mile Runner with 48 days of running in the legs, it will take all her reserves and determination to get over the finish line.
