It was a little rainy today but obviously a good day for running.

Even more visitors appeared today. There was basically non-stop live music at the course, until 11 pm.

The last hour we had little harder rain, but the runners were already looking forward to their well-deserved night break and did not mind the water.

Milan went home first around 23:27 pm with 67,8 km in his pocket.

He was seemingly at his worst moment, but luckily our physiotherapist, Bernd from Germany was there and he changed things for Milan.  The Czech runner now has hope that in two days he will run again.

Ananda-Lahari asked yesterday for Bernd. Many thanks to Bernd for coming so quickly and taking care of the runners so perfectly. Today Ananda-Lahari covered  72 km. Hopefully he is in full power tomorrow again.

Nirbhasa looked very thin and not on peak of his potential. Nevertheless he covered hard earned 100,1 km and went home at midnight full of soulful gratitude. Many thanks to Sadanand, who so devotedly serves his brother in this Race.

Ushika made second place today with refreshing 102,2 km. Many thanks to Lucas who helped Ushika the whole day, including the midnight work at Ushikas home and guarding the Camp afterwards.

Once again ,‘Andrea the Great’ was winner of the day with solid 118,9 km (73,9 miles).

He had again a Grand Finale, meaning he ran his fastest laps at the end of the day.

Gratitude goes to his spiritual Brother and dear friend from Italy who came all the way to serve Andrea for three days.

Daily averages- thru four weeks-

Andrea Marcato-          113.238km / 70.363 miles

Nirbhasa Magee-          102.428km / 63.646 miles

Ushika Muckenhumer-  98.328km / 61.098 miles

Ananda-Lahari Zuscin-   92.215km / 57.300 miles

Milan Javornicky-            83.456km / 51.857 miles

The five runners have passed four weeks running nearly 17 hours a day to reach their goals.

In the case of Andrea Marcato, he is in unchartered but believable territory. His daily average has increased

a bit in the last week, and he is on pace to acquire fastest first timer in this super-long event. If his feet and legs hold up, his natural speed should place him in the high rent district of the 3100-Mile Race. Tomorrow he reaches 2000 miles!

The other four runners are hanging on, and most importantly, being within themselves and doing the best they can in such an unusual situation. Keep smiling fellas, the world may be watching!
