The League of Eight moved with a little snap in their step, particularly after the sun went down and the wind diminished. Ashprihanal Aalto led the group as Day Leader again with a burgeoning 69.14 miles. He took back nine laps from overall leader Vasu Duzhiy, who experienced some foot soreness and a few blisters after a solid six-day warm-up.

Nirbhasa Magee continues his streak of nearly 65+ miles a day and seems none the worse for wear. Even Harita Davies is on a solid cadence, having crested 60 miles the last two days. Both Harita and Todor Dimitrov have some work to do, but they are both getting better, stronger, and more confident as fitness starts to occur from the mega miles that the body absorbs. Todor is learning on the fly as a first timer. If he can bridge the next week with a similar effort as seen in the past few days, his confidence will soar.

In all, seven of eight made it past 60 miles, with only Ananda-Lahari Zuscin missing 60 by only one lap.

Vasu Duzhiy- 500 miles = 6:17:51:49 (his second best in 8 attempts)
