Today was another cold day with rain from evening until midnight! This kind of weather our human nerves normally do not like. Nevertheless, 4 of the 5 heroes’s made it over 96 km. Respect. Well done!

Our local TV brought a nice 3 min 40 sec report on the Race this evening at 7 pm in ‘Salzburg Heute’. They recorded it yesterday afternoon.

Ananda-Lahari did run for two thirds of the day. He took only one short break and walked the whole night, reaching 97 km at midnight.

Ushika covered his day with 98,1 km. The first third of the day was difficult for him, but then he found his rhythm and closed the day at midnight with a ‘2 km cushion’. Ushika has very good rain gear.

Milan transcended his yesterday’s achievement by one km and made it to 82,4 km. He was happy that the injury that came back last night was not getting serious today and that he could have proper time for rest management. Yesterday when I asked him if he had some great moments during the day he answered that every day was and is one wonderful great moment for him in this Race.

Nirbhasa had a very good day unfortunately in the evening his chest problems came back (maybe acidity) and he started to feel sick a little bit. That resulted in walking the last laps. In spite of all that he managed to get second place with 99,1 km.

Again the inner of the day was Andrea Marcato with another great performance of 114,8 km. The same mileage as yesterday

As usual, all the runners went through many ups and downs in today’s 18 hours of hard work, especially in this cold and rainy circumstances. Rest and recover dear runners, be well, full of energy and enthusiasm, because tomorrows is Day 34.

The five running gents are moving along, savouring each moment, rain or shine, to conquer their fears, pain, worries and anxieties with an ever-increasing determination. This Race is a special opportunity to observe the human triumphs and vagaries of the body and mind, as both try to grasp the impossible. At some point, the mind will surrender, or at least acknowledge that it can be helpful in not getting in the way of the life that strives. Ergo, we are more than body and mind, we are spirit and heart and the Soul.

How else could we explain what we do as humans, who seek to reach for elusive realms that can disappear in a flash. But success or failure, we still keep moving. All Blessings for the runners seeking to be better
