Day Leader Andrea Marcato from Italy is impressing many people around the globe with his relentless approach to the race. He not only has run 14 straight days of a minimum of 70+ miles, but has also surpassed some of his distance marks set in 2020 at Salzburg. This morning he reached the 3000km barrier for the second time in 26:04:56:38. Andrea remains sixth fastest all-time for that distance, having run faster than in Salzburg by 4 hours 54 minutes. The top five runners are still on pace to finish within the 52- day limit, barring any catastrophe or severe weather or storm.
