There was a little rain in the morning., then rain going off and on till late night.

Ananda-Lahari enjoyed the day with a lot of drizzling. He said it keeps one refreshed. He had another walking day and closed the day with 79,3 km at 23:44. Being the first of the 5 Musketeers going home. When I spoke to him how his day was - he said very good. He is looking forward to be able to run again tomorrow. When I told him 27 running days left his surprised reaction was ‘ONLY?’.

Ushika's view on the drizzling day was: ‘Unfortunately enough to get wet running shoes.’ But he worked hard and placed second for the day with 101,2 km having a fast night session. As always, he went home at midnight. He had to wait a little bit until the heavy midnight shower stopped and was then happily riding his bike home.

Nirbhasa was a little stomach sick in the morning, had low energy but reached half way at noon. We celebrated with a very nice Pizza slice for everybody. On this occasion, good pics were made at the scoreboard with him and his brother Sadanand who is his handler. Nirbhasa had 99,1 km to his credit at midnight and thanked everybody with a sweet smile while driving off in the back seat of the car. Having his bike in the trunk, because in the morning he has no driver. He comes with the bike.

Gerald’s ‘ORF’ article on Andrea’s halfway reached 45 000 views.

It seems Ales coming all the way from Prague and being here for Milan pays off. Milan seems to be better. He tried to jog a little again. He covered 80,3 km.

Now coming to the leader: Another triumphant day for Andrea covering 111,6 km only one lap below 70 miles. Andrea is a racer, he has a little motivation problem having nobody really close or chasing him, nor somebody ahead whom he could chase. But he showed his enormous talent with his last lap that he started at 11:55 and 30 seconds pm. He finished the lap 11:59 and 55 seconds. Unbelievable 4 min 25 sec.  lap of 1044 meters. RESPECT !

Tomorrow at midnight will be the halfway point for the race. Ushika should get the halfway split before his midnight departure. Ananda-Lahari is still 50+ miles behind pace. That might be just too much to make up, but, if he really wanted to get there, he could probably pull it off. It means 96 to 97 laps per day until the end of the race.

This thought probably never entered his mind, but that is okay. The earth will still turn, hopefully, and the sun will rise in the morning. And the sturdy runners will still continue on their journey, until the clock says endgame.

A brilliant test of inner and outer discipline, capacity, determination, and surrender to the higher Goal.

Keep smiling fellas, we will be watching.
