Rain in the morning, later dry and cool.

Andrea reached the halfway point at 6:18 am. Congratulations!

The rain slowed him down and he lost a little bit the focus and also his overflowing energy.

At the end of the day he had 108,5 km to his credit, which made him once more winner of the day.  He loves to read short phrases in Latin, in case anyone out there is inspired to write him phrases like ‘Carpe Diem’. He was the only runner going over 100 km on the 23rd day.

Another difficult Monday, but 4 of the 5 managed to go over the needed average of 96 km.

Nirbhasa ran closer to midnight as usual covering 99,1 km getting second place for the day. At the ride home he said that from now on he wants to run always until the end (midnight).

Ananda-Lahari and Ushika ex aequo on place three with 98,1 km. Ushika ran till midnight. Ananda-Lahari until 10:47 pm.

Ananda Lahari was walking in the morning and then running straight through without having a single break this day. (Of course minor washroom breaks) At his ride home he wished (hoped) for having only 'running days' until the end of the Race.

Milan cheerfully walked the whole day, still dealing his shin splint. He feels the Supreme is teaching him Patience. He went home around 11:27 pm.

Hours before our camp and the course had a lovely visit from a young cat.

Looking like the younger thin brother of Garfield. Young Garfield walked a whole lap with Milan, always staying behind Milan.

Ushika and the Cat:

Ushika in his military style  said that his night run was a terrible fight.

Until that Divine Cat came (young Garfield).

Young Garfield walked up to the two ladies (Mirjam and Sara) who sing every night for the runners, approximately 150 m from the camp.  Young Garfield stood in front of the singers in the middle of the path looking at the singers and blocking Ushika. The cat did not move an inch, that inspired Ushika to pet the cat. It seemed to relieve all his pain. Later on he said he met young Garfield a second time and young Garfield took away even his last muscle problem.
