Great weather, warm in the evening. pleasant at night.

Andrea was again the winner of the day! He achieved 109,6 km, again with difficulties (fore foot pain) in the evening and at night. Going home at midnight.

Ushika made second place today with solid 104,4 km. He calls the day the 'President Day', because our Austrian President -Alexander Van der Bellen sent an encouraging message yesterday afternoon to the 5 runners and especially mentioned the local hero runner –Ushika Muckenhumer. Going home at midnight. Andrea and Ushika quite often are the last runners at our camp.

Steady Nirbhasa ran 100,2 km and went home 23:45. His strides seem to be very short but one can feel he is running with his inner power. He celebrated 2000 km today.

Ananda-Lahari had a good day, but lost his rhythm in the evening, which inspired him to go home at 22:04, with 89,8 km to his credit. He thought maybe he took the wrong nourishment in the evening.

Milan had a much better day with nearly no pain. In the evening his shin splint pain came back. Milan thought it was because of the new shoes he tried. He went home at 23:30 with 87,6 km in his 'account'.

The fellas look good on the webcam when we peak in. At least the course has changing scenes and enough of Mother Nature to give them appreciation for this fragile Earth that is our home.

This is also the time to thank all the organizers, helpers and supporters of this year’s event. Here in New York and the USA in general, Covid-19 is still a serious problem. Tomorrow marks the third week complete, so Bravo to Salzburg, and Austria in general for embracing the event. Culture and Sports transcend boundaries, whether physical, ideological, or political. May all countries share in our awe of the transcending abilities of the human spirit. Until tomorrow, be well and stay safe.
