Nina's Interview

Nina: Even if I am dissapointed a little bit, I still feel… I still keep hope, and I still want to challenge myself. I still want to run my best. I still do my best every day. Even when sometimes I feel exhausted — no matter whether I feel happy or not, no matter whether I sleep enough or not — I feel it’s just like everyone’s life: you need to understand something is coming. Maybe God wants you to endure more. Endure, right? Endure more. And He wants you to control your mind. Control your mind. And He wants you to be the best.

So I feel grateful, and I cherish my chance to run the 3,100 Mile again, and I accept all the things that are happening. But I try to run faster, and I try to listen to music with a different tempo, and I try to advance myself.

Interviewer: Thank you so much. I just want two more [questions]. What has given you the most joy in this race?

Nina: Even though this is so difficult — sometimes I feel a little bit tormented, and even if it’s a little bit bitter — I still taste the sweetness. I taste all the sweetness from the people around me, the counters. And when I am running well, I relax myself, I give joy, I receive love, and I feel wonderful.

So I think, why not? We still have 10 days — we still have so many days. We need to enjoy every moment. Don’t despair, don’t give up, because you never know how many challenges are waiting for you. Really, if you don’t accept all the things, you will not realize… when you achieve it, the happiness will come. Yeah. I hope, and I still believe, the happiness is coming soon, and you can grab the happiness anytime.
