Day 10   In a imaginary blink of an eye, we have seen 10 days of the 3100. Four intrepid runners are averaging over 70 miles a day. Yuri Trostenyuk sits in fourth place with 704.11 miles, his determination resolute and his smile simmering just below the stoic gaze. Third place for the moment belongs to Galya V. Balatskyy, his gait strong and his effort powerful and confident. He has displayed his best start in this race ever(738.68 miles), with nary a weakness or flaw- cheerfulness rests just below his smooth effort. Second place is in the capable hands and legs of Atmavir Petr Spacil. He is moving along with determination and tremendous conviction in his ability. Like Galya, Atmavir has run every day of the first ten with over 70 miles on his scorecard(745.27 miles). Leading the group of 12 is Finland's hero-runner of the long races- Ashprihanal Aalto- who has amassed 788.07 miles in 10 days. He has seen every type of race in his 12 summers here on the block. The race he is compiling is without a doubt his best effort by far. The only question is can he stay healthy and keep moving along. The other members of the field also possess tremendous attributes, but the spotlight for the first week and a half is on the speed boys. They can help everyone with their energy. Only time will tell us the outcome. Stay tuned my friends, this race could be the best ever!!
