The Lion of St Petersburg Russia, Vasu Nikolai Duzhiy, 55, a lumber Company supervisor and extraordinary runner, made it past the 3100 Mile finish line for the ninth time in nine tries. The humble and modest athlete thanked everyone in attendance, after he reached third place.

Mr Duzhiy averaged 62.589 miles/ 100.728km per day, and is still ranked sixth all-time.

Harita Davies had another solid performance and is poised to finish on Monday between 6:30 and 7:45 local time. She is well ahead of her personal best from 2019. Takasumi Senoo will reach that elusive finish line Tuesday evening, after a remarkable effort and even longer journey to get to New York.
