Day 51

Stutisheel Lebedyev,45, from Kiev,Ukraine reached the 3100 Mile finish line for the ninth time in his multiday career today. His time of 50 days+12:52:49 was certainly not his fastest, but the effort in overcoming much physical adversity was most noteworthy if not inspiring. He is still ranked 16th all-time in this longest race. He averaged 61.346 miles per day(98.727 km). He even chronicled some of the race throughout his journey on his blog and website whilst running day and night.

Nirbhasa Magee is only 73 laps (40.06 miles) away friom finishing  3100 miles in his first try. He ran 59.81 miles today to get into position to finish on tuesday afternoon. He will become the first native son of Ireland to finish the world's longest race.
